Caustic Soda Lye is used for wide range of applications such as:

•  It is use to remove excess lime from the leather during leather processing.
• Aluminium production used to dissolve bauxite ore, the raw material for aluminium production.
• Soap & Detergent used for saponification, the chemical process converts fat, tallow & vegetable oil into soap. It is also used in manufacture of anionic 
  surfactants; a crucial component is most dangerous & cleaning products.
• Textile used to process cotton & dye synthetic fibres such as nylon & polyester.
• Bleach manufacturing used to make bleach, which has industrial & consumer application such as mould & mildew control around the home.
• Petroleum product used to explore product & process petroleum & natural gas.
• Caustic soda has faster & stronger reactivity than other alkali materials.
• The tannery or leather process makes the corrosive skin a stable, permanent & flexible natural material
• Pharmaceutical & medicine used from common pain relievers like aspirin, to anticoagulants that can help prevent blood clots, to cholesterol-reducing 
  medication.
• Leather dressing or tanning has several stages during which the skin turns into the leather.

• Store caustic lye in a cool, dry place, away from incompatible materials.
• Keep the drums tightly closed when is not in use.
• Spills may be cleaned & flushing with sufficient amount of water.
• Avoid contact with skin or eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention.
• Caustic Lye is highly caustic and corrosive. Always wear suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling, including chemical-resistant gloves, 
  safety goggles, and protective clothing.

Caustic Soda Lye is available in various container sizes, including HDPE Drums as 80kg & bulk containers.

The product typically has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored as recommended.

Dispose of caustic lye and its containers following local, state, and federal regulations 
and Govt.
Do not release caustic lye into the environment. It is a hazardous substance and should 
be handled and disposed of accordingly.
