Calcite is used for wide range of applications such as:

  • In Calcite is used as an antacid or as a calcium supplement.
  • It is also used as filler in cosmetics.
  • It is added to swimming pools as a disinfectant agent and a pH corrector.
  • It finds extensive usage in the manufacturing industry as a building material (marble), ingredient for quick lime and cement.
  • Calcite is the most widely used mineral in the paper, plastics, paints and coatings industries both as a filler – and due to its special white colour – as a coating
    pigment.
  • Calcite is considered as an additive in the production of pesticides and poultry food. Natural calcium carbonate products are suitable and friendly with the
    environment.
  • Calcite forms a kind of internal frame structure in plastic products, and greatly improves the dimensional stability of plastic products. It can improve the
product hardness, electrical efficiency, flame retardant performance, heat resistance and treatment performance
  • Calcite is widely used when combined with polyethylene resins to manufacture bags, packaging, shopping bags, bags, clothes bags, garbage bags.
  • Using calcium carbonate increases product durability, better dispersion in plastic chemicals, optimal product gloss, and improved production process.
  • Calcite is widely used when combined with polypropylene with high MI to produce injection moulding of plastic products such as Sheets, hollow boards, household items, and home appliances accessories.
  • Keep containers or bag tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
  • Wear personal protective equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid ingestion and inhalation. Avoid dust formation.

Calcite is available in 25kg, 50kg, Jumbo bags and various bag sizes.

The product typically has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture when stored as recommended.

Calcite is intended for industrial use only.
The substance/mixture does not contain components considered to have endocrine disrupting properties according to REACH Article 57(f) or Commission Delegated regulation (EU) 2017/2100 or Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/605 at levels of 0.1% or higher.
